Auto Roles
The Auto Roles feature in Bluetick allows server admins to automatically assign or remove roles from members based on predetermined conditions and delays. This powerful tool can streamline various processes within your server and enhance the overall user experience.
Setting Up Auto Roles

Navigate to the Auto Roles Dashboard
- In the Bluetick dashboard, locate the "Auto Roles" section.

Configure the Auto Role
- Action: Choose whether to add or remove a role.
- Role: Select the role you want to assign or remove.
- Delay: Specify the delay (in minutes) before the role is added or removed after a member joins the server.

Save and Enable
- Once you've configured the auto role, click "Save" to enable it in your server.
Use Cases
The Auto Roles feature offers numerous possibilities for server management. Here are some interesting use cases:
- Welcome Role: Assign a "New Member" role immediately upon joining the server, which can be removed after a set period (e.g., 24 hours) to declutter the member list.
- Verification Role: Add a @Unverified role after a delay (e.g., 5 minutes) and let that role only sees the #rules channel, to ensure new members have read the server rules and agreed to the guidelines.
- Moderation Roles: Temporarily assign a "Muted" or "Restricted" role to new members until they have been vetted or approved by moderators.
- Event Roles: Assign temporary roles for upcoming events or activities, which can be removed automatically after the event has concluded.
- Reward Roles: Grant special roles to long-standing members or those who have been active in the server for a certain period.

Role Conditions: Add conditions for assigning or removing roles, such as:
- Account Age: Only add roles if the user's account is older than a specified number of days.
- Bot Accounts: Exclude bot accounts from receiving certain roles.
- Other criteria based on user information or server settings.
